This trail starts from a church in Soline, following an old road all the way to Sakarun bay. The old road intersects the main road, so be careful while crosing, especially during the tourist season. From there, the trail Le Route Antique continues down to Sakarun bay, follows the coast towards cape Lopata, and then towards the village of Polje. Shortly before Polje, it turns onto a narrow path that leads through olive groves to the bridge near Sakarun. From there it rejoins the old road to village of Soline.

The legend of the odd fairies

In the field between villages of Soline and Božava, hidden by overgrown blackberries and bushes, there is a deep hole. Although it would seem completely submerged in water to the casual wanderer, in fact the water inexplicably covers only the upper 10m, and below there is a huge open space with many labyrinths inhabited by local fairies dressed in long white silky dresses. They must not show themselves to people, except to those they choose to drag to their abode underground. Otherwise, they will turn to stone. Those fairies are, to say the least, odd. They catch the careless men in the field, drag them into their hole, feed them with the sweetest nectar, entertain them, and return to the field at night, where they then dance. And all of this because of the centuries-old boredom from imposed isolation, so that human eyes would not turn them to stone.
