Take into consideration the connection between Sestrunj and the mainland (city of Zadar), and plan your trip, boat and ferry lines.
Discover this 205 trail on the island of Sestrunj. The trail is called Kompas Sv. Petra (Saint Peter’s Compass) because Saint Peter is the patron saint of the island of Sestrunj, and the trail itself resembles a compass. It is a moderately difficult trail.
Sestrunj is known as a green island with only one settlement that is situated on the elevated part of the island. This trail will introduce you the four bays of Sestrunj. It starts at the bay of Kablin and a fishing port and heads along a green part of the island to the village of Sestrunj. On your way, you will get to know the traditional island architecture, the church of St. Peter, the church of Our Lady of Health (crkva Gospe od zdravlja) and the remains of Liburnian graves. After starting at the Kablin bay, choose the next bay you want to visit, Muline, Hrvatin or Triluke. Each of the mentioned bays leads you through the settlement to the next harbour, so it is up to you which of them you want to visit. The main harbour on the island is called Hrvatin. The 205 enables you to research the island known for its turbulent and rich past, the island of unexplored natural beauties.
