This trail starts at the intersection at the entrance to Sali Field, but after 20m it turns left along a path that leads you to the house of the mischievous creatures Peteročići . If they don’t annoy and tire you too much with their misdeeds, you will be able to return to the main road along the same path and continue towards the turn for Brčastac hill. You have to keep in mind that this road is very busy during the summer, so you should move along it carefully. The ascent takes you all the way to the very top of Brčastac, from where the descent starts along a macadam road that at one point turns into a goat road and leads all the way to the sea, to the Farfarikulac bay.
The legend of Peteročići
The Peteročići are best known for their 5 horns on their heads and whose only goal in life is to make mischief, like stealing tools from workers in the field while laughing mockingly. There are a lot of stories related to them, like the one when they angered January. You may not remember it but January long ago had 29 days, and February had 30 days. The Peteročići can’t stand the cold, so one warm year they mocked January on its last day for not bringing any cold at all. January got angry and decided to borrow 2 days from February and send the worst winter in history to Peteročići. Since then, January has 31 days, February has 28 days, all through the fault of Peteročići.
If something of yours disappears on this trail and you can’t find it, you will know that Peteročići visited you without you noticing it at all.
