The bike trail called Beautiful Vistas (Predivni vidikovci) is physically very demanding because runs almost to the very peak of Sveti Mihovil and through the hilly terrain of the island’s olive groves. In terms of its technical demand, it is moderate. The trail is 16.1 km long and it takes two hours to ride it from the beginning to the end.

The trail begins in Preko at the ferry terminal. In the vicinity of the ferry terminal there is the medieval church of St. John. The flat part of the trail runs to the village of Kali. On the way to Kali, the trail offers a beautiful view of the islet of Ošljak and the fishing port in Kali. The trail explores the coastal part of Kali up to Batalaža bay and then climbs up to the island road to continue towards the hills inland. After 3.7 km, the trail turns slightly to the right towards the peak of Orjak and runs through numerous olive groves surrounded by dry stone walls.

After 5.4 km, there is another turn to the left towards the peak of Sveti Mihovil (St. Michael), where the ascent begins. The foot of the hill offers a view of the impressive medieval fort called Sveti Mihovil. At the foot of the fort, there is a rest spot called Željina. Near the fort, there is the Željina cave and Željina cliff attractive to climbers. The descent is reserved for a ride through the beautiful olive grove landscape so characteristic of the island of Ugljan. Here one can enjoy olive groves, Mediterranean herbs, field houses and dry walls.

The trail crosses the main island road D 110 after 12.9 km and continues to the centre of Poljana. This point offers the view of Cape Sveti Petar, and a little church of St. Peter built in the vicinity. After 13.5 km, the final easy section of the trail begins. It runs along the sea to Preko. Here, one can enjoy the island’s panorama: bays, beaches, vistas of Poljana and Preko, the islet of Galevac and Marina Preko. The trail ends after 16.1 km at the Preko ferry terminal.
