Dragon's eye

Zmajevo oko (Dragon’s eye) is a natural phenomenon that is a result of wearing off of the limestone.

The depth of the sea in Zmajevo oko is more than 10 meters and there are two small tunnels that connect Zmajevo oko with the sea (these tunnels are deep). This depth enables you to jump in the “pool” from the highest rock surrounding it.

Here you can spend a couple of hours swimming and diving. The sea is stunning and the undersea world is very attractive and wild.

So those who are braver and experienced in swimming and diving, can dare and dive through the underwater corridor that separates Zmajevo oko from the sea.

The cliffs laid at a sharp angle surrounding Zmajevo Oko that lead to this natural pool are also very attractive. There you can find ideal furrows in which you can lay back as if in the most comfortable deck chair.

These cliffs are of special geomorphological importance because there are traces of a distant history in the immediate vicinity of the bay. Namely, a dinosaur fossil was found on the steep slopes of Brbišćica, which is why this whole area has been put under special protection.
