Bobića špilja viewpoint

The Bobića špilja viewpoint is one of the five viewpoints/resting spots that are a part of the recreational and educational trail (13.25 km) that runs from the Bokolj top up to the Soline bay. The purpose of this trail, the viewpoints and the resting spots in the forest area is to promote and use the forest resources in terms of the recreation, health and tourism, which contributes to improving the quality of living of the local population. The resting spot is situated on the southern side of the island of Pašman, with a view of Soline Bay and Sveti Ante Bay.

Once you reach the resting spot, you will fine a notice board there intended to inform and educate visitors about the caves of the island of Pašman, the importance of the caves and their protection in order to prevent the destruction of caves and pits in this area. In the past, the caves on the island of Pašman served as shelters for livestock, but also for the people. The caves that have been explored so far include: Vela Pećina, Vela špilja-Stol, Mala špilja, Pod Semićem, Mariščica, Kolanove pećine and Bobića špilja, after which the viewpoint was named.

Bobića špilja cave is not far from the homonymous viewpoint. The above-mentioned notice board offers a detailed description of the path that leads to the cave.
